Since 2007, I.A.S. has been developing a river island in the Central
African Republic into our envisioned Special Economic Zone. The island
is situated on the Oubangui River, 200 meters across the Bangui river
bank, and 15 minutes drive from the Mpoko International Airport-Bangui.
Called Cité Lumière, this is the FIRST tax-free economic zone in the
Central African region. This 2,300,000 m2 island is being transformed as
the business hub in the African continent. Office buildings, commercial
centers, financial centers, five star hotels and state-of-the-art
hospital are among our main projects in the zone.
It is also the ideal community setting, where corporate life blends
harmoniously with domestic life of both the single and the family man.
There are various residential models to fit different lifestyles. Basic
amenities abound such as schools, parks, shopping malls, restaurants.
